Hi all,
Well my wife's Savage left her high and dry...again. She is starting to think that a bicycle would have been a better purchase. This time she says it started backfiring like crazy, and then just died. She tried to start it again, but the battery was dead, which was just replaced 3 weeks ago at the local dealer. Which by the way is not much help, everytime I walk through the door the mechanic looks at me shaking his head and says, "typical Savage, whats broken now". Well frustration level is getting high, I admit, but I dont think the Savage is a bad bike, everyone here seems to think its a great bike. Any advice from anyone would be great. My wife has given up on it, and shes sick of paying the mechanics to fix the thing, just to back in there the next weekend. She told me to get a for sale sign on it and eat our losses. I have owned 11 different bikes over 20 years, and I cannot figure this one out. Im no bike mechanic, but Ive done my share of repairs. Im not ready to give up on the little Suzi yet, so if anyone can give some advice that would be great. Thanks to all, Bwlaw
